Sharlene Spires is an author/illustrator of picture books, middle grade chapter books, and young adult novels. She lives on a small farm, in the smallest county in Florida, and helps her husband run their small town grocery store–Spires Market–established in 1890–the oldest grocery store in the state. She has a BA in English Literature and loves to bring little bit of American Literature into her stories.
She’s the author of THE GRANDSISTERS—an adoption story from a cousin’s perspective.
